If you’ve been reading our blog, you know we are on a bit of a decluttering kick. And who could blame us? Once you get a taste of a pristine desk and the ability to find exactly what you are looking for, you want to keep cleaning it forward!
As we were researching for this series of blog posts, we came across several websites that had a ton of great information.
Zen Habits. Leo Babauta has created a website that is as unembellished as a monk’s meditative mind. His clean writing and simple advice are just the breath of fresh air you need to start the de-cluttering process.
365 Less Things. If you need a practical approach to decluttering, Colleen Madsen at 365 Less Things is a great blog to add to your morning routine for organizing advice, motivations, guidance and tips.
Unclutterer. Supported by a team of organizing experts, Unclutterer is all about making the most of the space you have by streamlining your processes, your possessions, and your projects.
Project 333. If your bedroom is suffering from wardrobe woes, Project 333 can help. It guides you to develop a wardrobe that incorporates just 33 items of clothing (yes, including shoes and accessories) that you will wear over the next three months. The wardrobe decluttering rules are simple, and the success stories are abundant. Are you in?
Becoming Minimalist. While the minimalist life isn’t for everyone, we can all certainly stand to add a little more simple into our daily lives and household rooms. Becoming Minimalist does a great job of incorporating simple beauty and advice into a well-written site. We especially like this post about the lies we tell ourselves to keep the clutter around.
We hope you enjoy and learn from these sites as much as we have. If you need help applying some of these great organizing and de-cluttering concepts, or if you want to give your house a good once-over once you’ve pared it down, we are here to help! Here’s to a clean slate!
